About Kate
Kate is an NCIDQ-certified Interior Designer, licensed in Connecticut, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design. Since graduating in 2003, she has cultivated her expertise by contributing to both boutique and large-scale Interior Design and Architecture firms across Fairfield and Westchester Counties, as well as New York City. Over the course of her career, Kate has refined her design sensibility and project management acumen across a wide range of sectors, including residential interiors, commercial offices, and hospitality spaces.
After working in Connecticut and Westchester, Kate lived and worked in NYC for several years, before relocating with her family to Tokyo on her husband's work assignment. As a native of Serbia, this immersion into Japan’s distinct culture and aesthetic philosophy was both personally transformative and professionally enriching—an adventure that deepened her global perspective on design.
Today, Kate and her family of four are settled in New Canaan. On the weekends, they often go hiking with their dog, Sugar Rush.
